Broadway Nails imPRESS Press-on Manicure

REVIEW TIME!

Well Influenster has been so kind as to let me review some awesome products once again. This time in them was Broadway Nails imPRESS Press-on Manicure. Which was pretty awesome by the way. If you are looking for fun, easy to use, then look no more. I've been around for a hot minute in the press on fake nail world and if you have too, you know the frustration that nail glue brings. Yeah like that one time you glued your fingers together. Yeah.... that's happened more than I would ever like to admit. BUT THROW AWAY YOUR GLUE!!!! Broadway Nails imPRESS Press-on Manicure sets come with the glue already attached to the underside of the nail in a way that is super easy. You peel of the plastic barrier and presto! Press that bad boy on nice and firm, and you've got a great looking manicure. Now it is important to wipe the nail off with the wipe that comes with the set. This removes the oils on the nail that would prevent it from lasting. If you want this to last a full week or even more then you must do this. They come in so many fun and crazy patterns. It's hard to choose which one to use next!

I did received this product complimentary for testing and review purposes from Influenster.

Q-tips® Precision Tips

Ok I got another great product in my Something Blue VoxBox from Influenster to try out and review.  The Q-tips® Precision Tips are more than your ordinary Q-tips. I mean they do the job of an ordinary Q-tip they clean your ears just fine but they are great for make up touch ups and many many more things.

Mascara seems to be my best friend and worst enemy. I know I'm not alone in this. I always seem to get mascara on my skin especially under my eyes no matter how careful I seem to apply it. Grab one of these bad boys and they are strong enough to wipe off the mascara without messing with the eye lashes.  I love that they don't fall apart like regular Q-tips usually do and leave cotton all over the place. These are strong enough to stay together and keep their form throughout the use.

What about nail polish? DIY nails are awesome because it saves you money but I always seem to get nail polish all over my fingers. Especially on the right hand since I'm right handed. Grab one of these awesomely strong Q-tips and dip it in some nail polish remover and wipe it off with ease!

Dr. Scholl's® For Her Ball of Foot

I received Dr. Scholl's® For Her Ball of Foot complementary from Influenster.  They are pretty freaking awesome. The thing I like most about them is that they're soft on top and not that "rubbery" feeling that most gel inserts feel like. They offer great support and it's nice and thick! Which is nice most inserts are pretty thin and don't offer enough support to make it through the evening.

To put them in the shoes you just peel off the clear plastic protective shield and just place them in. It's as simple as that! The sticky side is not cement sticky which is nice so you can bounce between shoes with them without ruining your favorite pair.  That's my favorite pair.

Look at those sexy shoes all comfy-afied

For Time And All Eternity...

So I know it's been a while since last I posted on our family blog but really nothing interesting has happened for a while so there was nothing new to say.

BUT... things have happened worth sharing about.  So for the past year and some (since we got married back on November 20th, 2010) we've been working towards getting sealed in the LDS Temple for time and all eternity.   Well on January 14th 2012 Todd and I were sealed for all time and eternity.  It was a wonderful day.  Family and friends came from far and wide to share in our joys.  It was pretty much a perfect day.

"Don't you love New York in the fall? It makes me wanna buy school supplies. I would send you a bouquet of newly sharpened pencils if I knew your name and address." - You've Got Mail

It's that time of year again...FALL!  Thank heavens this heat is exhausting.    Todd and I are BOTH in school this semester   Todd's back at North Carolina State University and trucking through towards his Bachelors and I'm at Wake Technical Community College on the Associates of Arts degree heading for the University Transfer.

We had a great time picking out school supplies it was like we were kids again.  Todd grabbed anything that was cheap and would do the trick while had a much higher standard if it wasn't cute it wasn't going in my basket!

Classes started officially for us this past week and we both had our first class on Thursday.  Not very exciting as most first days go as usual all you get is the syllabus and the introductions but over all we both had great starts to this school semester and look forward to good grades...although if I pass I'm happy!

On another note....

I have been attempting the couponing brigade and lets just say it's working.  I started off slow trying to get the hang of things and see how everything works.  It's an art form I've learned.  It takes patience, determination, and LOTS of organization to really get what you're looking for out of it.  As of now I've collected a years worth of toothpaste, laundry detergent, soap bars, and various other items.  It's starting to be come to much for my pantry to hold, the best problem in the world to have, so we're looking to make it more organized.  I'm no wear near some of those extreme couponers but I'm trying.

The best I've done so far is save 70% on a grocery bill.  $100.00 worth of food and products for $30.00 it was the best shopping trip ever!

New additions (and no I don't mean babies)

Saturday the weekend of Easter Todd and I went up to Hickory, NC to move Todd's father (Todd Sr.) to live in Garner, NC with us.  It was a fun adventure moving all the stuff out of the house and into a moving truck then 200 miles eastward towards the coast then unloading (I'll be honest I was almost no help).  It's been fun getting use to the "which Todd is this for?" situations but we're adjusting well.  He's been out of the country for a few weeks so it's really not going to settle entirely done until after he gets back.
