It's that time of year again...FALL! Thank heavens this heat is exhausting. Todd and I are BOTH in school this semester Todd's back at North Carolina State University and trucking through towards his Bachelors and I'm at Wake Technical Community College on the Associates of Arts degree heading for the University Transfer.
We had a great time picking out school supplies it was like we were kids again. Todd grabbed anything that was cheap and would do the trick while had a much higher standard if it wasn't cute it wasn't going in my basket!
Classes started officially for us this past week and we both had our first class on Thursday. Not very exciting as most first days go as usual all you get is the syllabus and the introductions but over all we both had great starts to this school semester and look forward to good grades...although if I pass I'm happy!On another note....
I have been attempting the couponing brigade and lets just say it's working. I started off slow trying to get the hang of things and see how everything works. It's an art form I've learned. It takes patience, determination, and LOTS of organization to really get what you're looking for out of it. As of now I've collected a years worth of toothpaste, laundry detergent, soap bars, and various other items. It's starting to be come to much for my pantry to hold, the best problem in the world to have, so we're looking to make it more organized. I'm no wear near some of those extreme couponers but I'm trying.
The best I've done so far is save 70% on a grocery bill. $100.00 worth of food and products for $30.00 it was the best shopping trip ever!
